Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ, said,
“Whoever among you sees evil, let him change it with his hand. If he cannot do so, then with his tongue. If he cannot do so, then with his heart, which is the weakest level of faith.”
Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Muslim
When I look around at the world today I have to wonder how far will we push the line back before we collectively decide it has been crossed? I am not a political person and try to avoid things that I don’t understand, but when I hear of mobs of scantily clad people marching down the streets of major American cities chanting “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children!”, it’s hard to ignore this issue any further. Or when I hear about the public school systems and libraries being the main clients for these LGBTQ+ propaganda books for kids, it’s, again, hard to ignore.
While I am not prepared to take direct action with my hands, as I don’t understand the intricacies of this matter and how to best effect change… at the very least I want to try to change it with my tongue and to affirm publicly and within my heart that this is not OK with me.
No K-5 kid should be given gender-affirming care behind their parents backs. No parent should risk losing their kids, having them forcefully taken by the state because the parents refuse to get with the program.
I’m all for a separation of church and state, and against any sort of policing over what consenting adults do in the privacy of their homes, but when it comes to public displays of debauchery becoming the norm (such as public nudity and the sexualization of children), and to the degree that it has infiltrated the public school system, can we really afford to continue pushing the line back to avoid acknowledging that it has been crossed a long time ago?
I’ve shared a few videos about some of the things going on in the world now… and it’s concerning. Very concerning.
